The period from Kennedy to Reagan was one of tumult, progress and discord. In addition to reaching as many contemporary “history and political lovers” as possible, I aspire to have my book used by college professors, historic societies, etc., as well as to conduct signings/speaking engagements at various forums (campuses, etc). My book can be distinguished from others for one major reason: its scope from start to finish. I don’t believe any other single existing publication chronicles so many major political officeholders lives and accomplishments from womb to tomb. Volume one contains 100 stories of which not a single detail of their lives, political relevance and accomplishments are missed. Volume two contains the same for lesser-known figures. Family members and aides of many of my subjects were contacted. As a follow-up, the chapters are not short so that the bios are concise to the point that nearly each chapter can be considered nearly a book in itself. The start of each chapter is also accompanied ny a political quote or a brief tidbit about another figure that is designed to set the mood for a chapter whether by enlightenment or humor.
